We will be making a cool graphic and whatnot in the near future to advertise the show, but wanted to mention that we are booked for an afternoon set at Alberta St Pub outside on the porch and distanced, on May 1. This will be our very belated homecoming show, I suppose, since our original one at the same venue was cancelled just over a year ago due to covid. We are extremely happy to be playing for y'all soon! We will have a big announcement at the show and hope y'all can be there to celebrate with us. Ticketing will be limited, so check back often. We will let you know as soon as tickets are available.
Goings-on and happenings
2020 presented us with challenges and opportunities.
All shows were cancelled. We were very disappointed. We tried to do some livestreaming, but it just isn't us. So expect to see us once live shows are happening again.
Our bass player Darren reassessed priorities in life and decided to move to be closer to his family. We totally understand but miss him. We wish him all the best.
Over the autumn before the most recent spike, we continued practicing weekly outside at Ujima. Since Elwood Johncox and James Rossi were around, they sat in, taking turns on bass. Elwood will be rejoining us on bass. We missed playing with him and are very, very happy to have him back! James will be playing with us on mandolin and sometimes fiddle whenever his schedule allows. Some of y'all know Petey the drummer... we had a couple of practices before the Covid spike shut things down and were really stoked to have some percussion, and plus, Petey is rad. We are hoping she will be joining us again and perhaps playing some live shows with us once things are clearing up with Covid and we are all vaccinated. We shall see what happens! Stay tuned as we are in the process of booking some shows...
All of our shows have been cancelled for the summer of 2020 due to covid. We will update when we are booking again.
